Spatiala observationssystem och spatiala modeller och modeller för utsläpp och spridning av miljöpåverkande ämnen är huvudtemat bakom detta lunch-till-lunchmöte.
Våra båda huvudtalare
Hans Wackernagel, Centre de Géostatistique, Ecole des Mines
de Paris och Antti Penttinen, Department of Statistics,
University of Jyväskylä, är speciellt inbjudna och ger två intressanta
föredrag.
Hans Wackernagel har bl.a. skrivit en känd bok om spatiala
processer, geostatistik och Kriging och Antti Penttinen har ekologiskt
inriktade modeller med dolda bakomliggande processer som ett av sina
områden.
Ytterligare 10 högklassiga bidrag från flera olika svenska
forskargrupper och organisationer ger en bred bild av den inhemska
verksamheten i området. Utrymmet har inte tillåtit oss att ta med alla
förslag till bidrag men vi har försökt skapa en
blandning av folk som kan mätsidan eller samlar data och sådana som
främst arbetar med statistiska modeller.

Spatial observation systems and spatial models as well as models for exhaust and spread of environmentally harmful substances is the main theme behind this lunch-to-lunch meeting.
Hans Wackernagel, Paris, well-known for his book on geostatistics and Kriging methods, and Antti Penttinen, Jyväskylä, wellknown for models with ecological applications and with hidden background processes, are specially invited and will contribute with two interesting talks. Another ten high class contributions from several Swedish research groups and institutes/companies will give a broad picture of Swedish activities in the area. Our ambition has been to bring together people engaged in measurement systems and data collection and people working primarily with statistical modelling and analysis.

The meeting will take place at Statistics Sweden (Statistiska Centralbyrån), Karlavägen 100, Stockholm in a hall upstairs right called Berzelii Park. (Don't confuse this hall with an address with the same name.)
