Student Sessions

In addition to the special sessions there will be student sessions where advanced students (e.g., from the ECMI postgraduate programme) can report on their work. Students are encouraged to submit papers on industrial projects.

Contributed Papers and Mini-Symposia

Participants from industry and academic institutions willing to contribute a 20 minute oral presentation are invited to submit papers on one of the seven conference themes or on other topics in industrial mathematics.
An extended abstract/short paper (up to 3 pages), of the paper should be submitted to the mailing address by January 29, 1998. The cover page of the abstract should contain: author's name(s), affiliation and address, telephone and faxnumber, e-mail address and key words. The first author will receive all correspondence unless otherwise requested. If possible, a LaTeX version of the abstract should be sent by e mail. Notification of acceptance will be given by March 6, 1998.
Those interested in organizing a mini-symposium are invited to submit proposals which include a name for the session and names of 3-4 speakers. Deadline and notification of acceptance are the same as for contributed papers.
