FEMLAB examples

(Stokes flow around a Sphere, FEMLAB-3D)


Below you can find some pictures of typical solutions obtained with Femlab-2d.


We will soon release a module for solving eigenvalue problems. This module can be used to study problems with vibrating membranes, quantum physics and a number of other applications.
There is also a new module under development for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. It will become available as soon as it has undergone som more testing. You can look at some flow problems solved by this new module:

Flow around a cylinder

Flow around airfoils

Free convection


We are also working on a module for linear elasticity. If there is interest in this we could distribute this module as well in the near future.
