The activities in bioinformatics at Chalmers University of Technology and Göteborg University, initiated in 1998, stem from a close collaboration with several departments. Departments involved are Mathematical Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Medical Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Molecular Biotechnology and Clinical Genetics.
