This mail is just to test the email adresses for the course that I
collected during the first lecture yesterday Tuesday 25 October.

Also, please take a good careful look at the course web page

in order to take in all public information about the course - in
particular take a good look at the course programme available
from that web-page (which I also distributed during the first
lecture) as well as putting a copy of the errata list for the book
into the book so that you are not fooled by errata ... .
