I joined the department of mathematical sciences at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg as an associate professor in 2014 and was promoted to full professor in 2017. Prior to that I was assistant and associate professor (2007-2013) at Uppsala University where I also became Docent (habilitation) in 2010. Prior to Uppsala I had a joint position as a postdoctoral fellowship between UC San Diego and Colorado State (2005-2007). I got my doctoral degree in applied mathematics (2005) and master in in engineering physics (2001) both from Chalmers. I have received no less than three prizes from the Göran Gustafsson foundations, including the Göran Gustafsson prize in mathematics in 2018 and the Gustafsson prize in 2012.
