In may 2006 I finished the mathematics program at Göteborg University, giving me a MSc. in mathematics. By the same time I was offered a PhD-position at the very same department here in Göteborg. I wrote my master thesis for Professor Mats Andersson in the field of Several complex variables and Algebraic geometry. In spite my background in mathematical analisis, I decides to go for a PhD rather in the field of Probability.

After a long summer, spent mainly in Brasil, but also in adjacent countries and western parts of europe, I began my PhD studies in september 2006. While awaiting a brighter future, as current tutor I have Professor Olle Häggström.

Most of year 2004 and 2005, I spent studying mathematics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I decided to go there mainly to learn spanish. It is probably the best single choise I have made so far. Not only did I learn spanish, but also did I meet fantastic people, at the UAM as well as in the lovely city of Madrid.
