Registration
There is no participation fee for the summer school. There is,
however, a fee covering hotel
(June 13-19, in a two-bed room shared with one other participant)
and full pension (three
meals a day, starting with dinner on Sunday, June 13, and ending with lunch on
Saturday, June 19), amounting to
- 3500 SEK (strongly subsidized!) for students and postdocs,
- 6000 SEK for others,
- 7200 SEK for those insisting on a single room.
1 SEK is about 0.8 DKK, 1.0 NOK, 0.65 FIM, 0.22 DEM, 0.07 GBP
or 0.12 USD (August 1998).
Participants from the Nordic countries can count on even greater
subsidization, plus travel support. Special funding is also available
for participants from the Baltic countries and north-west Russia.

It is advisable to register as early as possible, due to the
limitation on the number of participants (about 50).
Definite registration
should be done no later than May 5, 1999.
