Mathematicians travel from around the world to research institutes to exchange ideas.

The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) asked me to give a public lecture in Brisbane, as part of their 2018 winter school: here it is!
Bjorn Birnir, one of my collaborators giving a talk on our joint work concerning erosion at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara, 2013.
Workshop on Analysis and Geometric Singularities May 2012 at the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach. Before becoming a mathematician, I didn't realize there would be so much traveling involved. To foster research developments mathematicians travel all over the world to meet at research institutes and universities to exchange ideas, collaborate, and learn new mathematics. One of my favorite research institutes is the MFO.
Interview at the Universite de Nantes (in French) following a conference organized by Samuel Tapie, Exposants critiques et groupes kleiniens, April 13-15, 2011. The interview was conducted by Leo Larroche, a member of the theater group Les n+1 de la compagnie Les ateliers du spectacle, who were preparing a theatrical performance piece on mathematics.
