A Branching Process Model with Mutation and Selection

Abstract
We consider a general branching process to which we add the possibility
of mutation within a general genotype space. Among the different aspects
of this process that we describe are
the asymptotics of different population counts,
the ancestry of a randomly sampled individual and the probability of
identity by descent.
