Gabriel Velho is visiting from CentraleSupélec, Paris, until the end of September. He is a PhD student specialized in control. Welcome to the group and we hope you enjoy your stay!
Our project on traffic flow was featured in the Chalmers News article New model could balance traffic congestions / Ny forskning kan minska trafikstockningar
Congratulation to Ioanna for the presentation of her midterm seminar Approximation of semilinear stochastic heat equations on the sphere!
Finally, our new preprint Non-stationary Gaussian random fields on hypersurfaces: Sampling and strong error analysis is online. Great that we finally finished the "Christmas paper"! Thank you for the pepparkakor, Erik!
Thank you so much for your visits during the last months, Verena Schwarz, Fanny Seizilles, and Stefano Di Giovacchino! We were very happy to join our group. I am looking forward to further collaborations and finishing the started projects.
We are happy that the project Random field simulation for Bayesian inference in ice sheet modeling with Fanny Seizilles got funding by Stiftelsen GS Magnusons fond.
Today, Andrea Papini joins the group as a postdoc for the upcoming 3 years working in the StochMan project. Welcome, Andrea!
Our new preprint Incremental Exponential Stability of the Unidirectional Flow Model is now available on arXiv. Congratulation to your first preprint, Sondre!
Our paper Euler-Maruyama approximations of the stochastic heat equation on the sphere was accepted for publication in the Journal of Computational Dynamics. This is Ioanna's first publication. Congratulation!
We are very happy that our paper Localized orthogonal decomposition for a multiscale parabolic stochastic partial differential equation was accepted for publication in Multiscale Modeling & Simulation.
While Gothenburg was the featured ECMI node, our post on the generation of random surfaces by stochastic partial differential equations became the project in focus.
Today we celebrate the official start of the ERC Consolidator Grant StochMan. Welcome to the whole team that will participate!
We are very happy that our paper Galerkin-Chebyshev approximation of Gaussian random fields on compact Riemannian manifolds was accepted for publication in BIT Numerical Mathematics.
Björn Müller joint the team as new PhD student for the coming 5 years. We are happy to welcome you and working with you, Björn!
