Regular buses between Göteborg and Ellös
For those participants who are unable to use our own
summer school bus, it
is possible to go by regular bus from Göteborg. The buses leave from
the large bus terminal "Nils Ericssonsterminalen", which is located next
to the Central Station (behind it, as seen from Drottningtorget). This
is somewhat less convenient than using our own bus, because one needs
to switch buses in Stenungsund and/or Henån.
Buses between Göteborg and Stenungsund are the so called "Röd
express". Those between Stenungsund and Henån are the so called
"Orustexpressen", as are the direct buses between Göteborg and Henån.
Buses between Henån and Ellös are "line 375".
When departing from Göteborg, you should purchase a ticket all the way
to Ellös (you can do that on the bus).
The connection in Stenungsund may seem tight, but you will make it
(the connecting bus will wait for you). Ellös itself is so small that
you will have no problem finding your way to Hotel Sjögården upon
arrival.
