How to get to Matematiskt Centrum
- From Landvetter airport:
By bus:Take the airport bus (yellow express) to
Korsvägen. Change to bus 50 or 51 from Korsvägen towards Linneplatsen,
get off at Pilbågsgatan (the stop before is
Bergsprängaregatan). Matematiskt Centrum (together with GDC, the
Gotheburg computer center with address Gibraltargatan 25) is in
the yellow brick building to the right of the bus, which you just
passed, about 75 meters from the bus stop. The bus-ticket from the
airport costs 50 Skr and is valid also for the bus from Korsvägen.
Save the ticket.
By taxi: Take a taxi to Eklandagatan 86. Ask for the
price in advance. It should be appproximately SEK 200 -- 250.
Keep a receipt.
- From Central Station:
Take bus 60 towards Fredriksdal to Pilbågsgatan (the stop before is
Engdahlsgatan) and get off at Bergsprängaregatan.
Matematiskt Centrum (together with GDC, the

the yellow brick building to the right of the bus, which you just
passed, about 75 meters from the bus stop.
The bus-ticket from the
central station costs SEK 16 if you buy it from the driver,
(it is two coupons (about SEK 10) if you have a bus/tram-card).
- By car:
Exit E6 towards Liseberg and Centrum on Örgrytevägen. After 600
meters, turn left in roundabout. Take the right lane up the hill on
Eklandagatan. Matematiskt Centrum is a yellow brick building
with a large metal sculpture in front
at the end of Eklandagatan, on your lefthand side.

General information
The period April-May is during the spring in Sweden and the weather
can vary considerably, from 0° C and snow to
20° C and sunshine. Usually temperature is around 15° C,
though. Nights can be quite cold.
