Lectures notes on ergodic theory
Lectures notes on information theory
Here are lectures notes for a mini course I had in the summer of 2009 at
the 19th Jyvaskyla Summer School in Jyvaskyla, Finland.
Here are lectures notes for a course that Christophe Garban and I had at
the 2010 Clay Summer School in Buzios, Brazil. (I leave these here but there
is no reason to use them since it is a proper subset of the final book which is also on this homepage.)
These are notes I wrote up for a class in 1991 which covered a tiny bit about
ergodic theory, some percolation, some interacting particle systems and
some stat. mech. (like phase transitions in the ordinary Ising Model).
This is an exposition of a result in the original noise sensitivity paper by Benjamini, Kalai and Schramm.
These are notes I wrote on integration and measure theory which I use for our course on these subjects.
These are notes I have written on the construction and simplicity of the first five sporadic groups discovered,
namely the so-called Mathieu simple groups. They also contain the proof of a theorem by Jordan on sharp k-transitivity.
