Applied optimization/Optimization (5 credits)

    The model assignment is handed in to one of the assistants. Please write the report in LaTeX, Word, or FrameMaker. Deadline: January 28!

    Project assignment II: The optimal plan, with a sensitivity analysis, version of 10 February 2005

    The tasks for part 2 of the mexico assignment may be found here: PS or PDF. The necessary AMPL-files are: mex.mod and mex.dat. The model can be solved online at www.ampl.com . Scheduled session (rooms B, C, G, H at 17.15-21.00): February 17. Deadline for handing in the report, unless passed through oral examination on site during the scheduled session: February 22!

Scheduled session (rooms B, C, G, H at 17.15-21.00): February 24. Deadline for handing in the report, unless passed through oral examination on site during the scheduled session: March 3!

    OBS! The files above contain two errors, and the new versions of Matlab do not run the GUIs properly. Therefore: download instead the following file: here and run the command "gtar xvzf lab2_2005". Then start the following old version of Matlab, or any other version older than 7.0: /usr/ed-pkg/sup.phc/b/binh/_matlab_6.5.
